BRIGITTE PULS, NZ Reg Psychologist (clinical scope of practice), NZ Reg Psychotherapist, Clinical Movement Dance Therapist , Dances of Universal Peace Leader (certified), Certificate in Supervision, Senior lecturer at AUT (part-time), Member NZAP, CTAA, DTAA, DUPANZ.
Brigitte specialises in working with children.
Based on careful assessment, Brigitte may work with children and adults (including in groups) with diverse symptoms and problems addressing emotional, social, somatic and spiritual concerns.
Brigitte follows a flexible, simple and creative approach to psychotherapy and counselling. Her focus is on facilitating a person finding their natural aliveness and energy, and understanding how (and why) they block this energy in the present moment. This process of discovering "who they truly are" leads to empowerment and the (re)unifying of body, mind and Spirit . Apart from talking, Brigitte's repertoire of techniques may include mindfulness, body awareness and the use of sandtray for adults, and a play therapeutic approach with children.
